Temppeliaukio Rock Church
A church hewn directly into solid granite, crowned with a copper dome and famed for its acoustics.
Designed by brothers Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen and opened in 1969, the Rock Church lets daylight pour through 180 skylights between the rock walls and the copper ceiling. Regular concerts make the most of its remarkable sound.
