Travel to Helsinki respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we process and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Data we collect
Account data: your name, email address and an encrypted password when you create an account, plus the places you save.
Messages: the content and contact details you send through the contact or trip-request forms.
Newsletter: your email address if you subscribe to the monthly letter.
Concierge: questions you ask our AI concierge are processed to generate an answer and are not used to build a profile of you.
Why we process it
To provide your account and saved lists (contract), to answer your messages (legitimate interest) and to send the newsletter (consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us).
Analytics and cookies
We use only essential cookies for signing in. Visitor statistics are collected with privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics that do not identify individuals.
Storage and processors
Data is stored with our hosting, database and file-storage providers within secure, access-controlled environments. We never sell your personal data.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to processing, by emailing hello@traveltohelsinki.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
